When Ashvin Goyal, Founder of Buynuse.com, was relocating for job post education, he tried various online classified sites. He neither liked the experience, nor the buying and selling environments offered by these sites. However, when he posted fliers within his apartment community at the end, he was able to sell most of the items at a good price within a week's time. This ultimately led to the building of Buynuse platform, which makes it easier to get one's message out to the right community, and matches their needs and interests faster with appropriate individuals.

Buynuse local admins for select groups help create an environment that keeps the buy and sell experience friendly, fun and trustworthy. The platform has an internal email system built up, so users can message the seller of any item and place an offer of choosing. "The classified market is enormous, set to grow to $1.2 billion by 2020 in India alone. When we began exploring this area, we discovered that something very important is missing: trust. We conducted a survey with 3,000 participants and 70% reported discomfort with using a local buy and sell site because they feel unsafe meeting anonymous buyers and sellers in person. A whopping 90% of respondents said seeing someone's full name and a profile photo would make them more comfortable buying and selling online. We have applied the feedback received through various mediums to Buynuse to make it a delightful experience for users," says Rupinder Kaur, Co-founder of Buynuse.com.
